You ok, mommy?

At bedtime after your nightly story which right now happens to be Goodnight Moon one of my fav.'s!  I was singing to you, your usual two songs before I lay you down, and I started coughing a little, I try to getting thru the song but for whatever reason I kept kinda choking, be it a dry throat or whatever...  you look up at me with those beautiful hazel eyes, pacifier in mouth, "You..... ok..... mommy?"  Oh my.. at 16 months your already showing compassion, oh how I love you!  That was one of those moments I will always treasure!

Time out, it a place both you and your big brother are often finding yourselves in.  It's got to be the age, you two are getting into it a lot lately, particularly screaming matches, ugh, not fun.  Anyway I LOV that after your time outs you and Cam are so wonderful at saying your sorrys and giving hugs and kisses.  Your both so loving and kind to each other even in the midst of constant arguing!

You're growing so fast!

Kerbear, you've got some big personality, which is why I call you, my bear!  You're so different from your brother and at time that's difficult for mommy, I wouldn't have it any other way!  You're so beautifully witty and exciting, I love all of the funny crazy moments we have together, and so here is the start of your blog and WHAT I LOV ABOUT YOU!

I love that you eat like a 400 pound man, you are the most beautiful petite little thing and boy can you put it away!  We share meals with auntie cheri and baby madison quite often, here's how the meal will typically go: I will give you a sufficient amount of food for a toddler, you will eat most of it, sign "more" and say "mo" to get more of the part you liked best (ie. i make pancakes, you sign "mo" to get more whipped cream, not happenen!) anyway if it's a healthier part of the meal i comply, when you are done you sign and say "all done" i let you down and you make your way over to your cousin maddie's tray and proceed to eat the rest of her food!  : )

My little bear at the age of 16 months, you are a hitter!!  We've been trying very hard to patiently , calmly and gently teach you that is not how we behave, "Bear, be gentle, touch nicely"  You're so adorable, i LOV the way you raise your hand to hit your brother and think about it just long enough for mommy to jump in "gentle bear" and you put your hand back down, or gently pat CamJam!  Good girl bear, you're doing good, and eventually we'll break that habit!

I LOV the way you find any sort of bag or container with a handle on it, put it over your shoulder and proudly yell bu-bye to everyone in the room as you head for the front door!  ....Where do you think you're going munchkin?

I LOV the way you say "no", note: I don't LOV that you say no, I LOV the way you say it!
